Verity IQ is a team of talented professionals who are passionate about providing technology solutions to educational institutions.

Verity Dialog is a mobile application designed to revolutionize communication and efficiency within educational institutions. The app aims to address the critical challenges faced by schools and universities, such as declining enrollment and operational inefficiencies.

By seamlessly integrating with the existing Verity platform, Verity Dialog empowers educators and administrators to effortlessly manage their workflows on the go. The app provides a comprehensive suite of features, including calling, texting, emailing, and calendar management, enabling staff to stay connected with students and colleagues at all times.

Challenge

Our primary goal was to address one of the greatest challenges faced by educational institutions: providing their teams with simple and efficient all-day access to their work environment from anywhere.

This would enable them to increase student enrollment, retention, or conversion by being more present and responsive to requests or questions that may arise.

The main challenge was to find the most effective way to develop a mobile application that maintains a consistent user experience and look with the existing web product while also taking into account mobile best practices and features.

In order to achieve this, we had to gain a thorough understanding of all the workflows and use cases in the previous app.

Solutions

To deliver a robust and intuitive user experience, we opted for a native development approach, using Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android, which has proven to be highly effective.

Beside this, our contribution in UX/UI design, native mobile development, QA, and project management throughout this ongoing project are essential in bringing and keeping Verity Dialog to its best version.

The app offers a range of essential features, including:

• Secure login: Users can access the app using their existing credentials or through integration with Microsoft and Google accounts.

• Efficient communication: The app facilitates seamless communication through calling, texting, and emailing functionalities.

• Organized scheduling: Users can create events, set reminders, and manage appointments effectively with the built-in calendar.

• Data-driven insights: Analytics features provide valuable data to inform decision-making and optimize workflows.

The app has been well-received by users, providing valuable insights for future enhancements.

The collaborative approach between the product, web, and mobile teams was instrumental in the project's success. By working closely together, the teams ensured a smooth development process and delivered a high-quality product.
